What’s New for Developers in Windows Mobile 6

13 August 2009 No Comment

Windows Mobile 6 has generated strong interest from both corporate organisations and end-users, but what does it offer developers? This session will examine how the development platforms for Windows Mobile 6 simplify application development and deployment and will show how to develop a single application that runs on the myriad of device types and form factors now on the market. Topics will include ROM enhancements and new emulators (including the FakeGPS, FakeServer and Cellular Emulator) that allow developers to simulate many real-world scenarios that were previously difficult to create and test. The session will conclude with a brief look at what’s new for device developers in Visual Studio 2008.
